What if I’m not satisfied with my service?

Please don’t hesitate to let us know! We will listen, learn and address your concerns to the best of our ability. We’re all doing our best to accommodate a wide range of expectations in a very detailed and personalized service to our clients and it’s our goal to be as thorough and consistent as possible. We believe in doing our personal best, however it’s dang near impossible to achieve perfection 100% of the time—even for our Type A, hawk-eye, sparkle loving staff!  Our goal after all, is to leave you happier in life with a cleaner home. Do I have to be home during a cleaning visit?

No. You do not need to be home, although you’re welcome to be! Many of our customers are not present during our cleaning visits and provide us with a key to their home or business and—when necessary—alarm codes. We always keep your keys and access information extremely secure.

Do you use your own cleaning products?

Yes! The Atlanta Cleaning Source uses all our own cleaning products and equipment. We clean homes for health and happiness and use green cleaners whenever possible, as they are better for both you and our employees. We use use both conventional and environmentally friendly products. Our natural name brand cleaners can be used for everything from sanitizing the bathroom to cleaning your carpet. We use non-toxic products like Method, Seventh Generation, Bona and Greenworks to homemade, natural products and Dr. Bronner’s natural essential oil soaps. In the event that you’re unhappy with the provided cleaning supplies, you can substitute your own, as long as they are not harmful to our team members. Let us know your preference!

Do you conduct a background check on all your employees?

Yes. We want you to enjoy the kind of service that allows you to never think twice about it. The Atlanta Cleaning Source conducts background checks on all our team members to ensure the safety of you and your home. We have a rigorous hiring process focused on teamwork and feedback, and all employees are all given top-notch training to meet our demanding standards. Trust is a vital component of our business. We pride ourselves on having earned the trust of our customers throughout the 17 years of our company’s success.

Are you insured and bonded?

Yes. The Atlanta Cleaning Source carries liability insurance and bond, and all of our employees are fully insured to guarantee the safety of your possessions. In the unfortunate event that something gets broken, damaged or goes missing in your home, we will promptly make every effort to have the item repaired or replaced.

Do you carry worker’s compensation?

Yes. Every one of our team members is an employee, and not independent contractor. This means all of our employees are on the ACS payroll and pay federal, state and social security taxes. This will provide our team members with worker’s compensation in the event that someone gets injured on the job, so you—as the homeowner—won’t be liable.

What if I have pets?

No problem! The Atlanta Cleaning Source loves pets and wants our cleaning visits to be a positive experience for your furry family members too. We give special consideration to your animals while cleaning your home, ensuring your pet is comfortable during the entire cleaning process. We do need to be notified if you own pets, and we like to know their names. If you have any special requests regarding your pets, or there are any special circumstances we should be aware of, please include this information when you request your free personalized estimate.

What if my regular cleaning schedule falls on a holiday?

If your scheduled cleaning falls on a holiday, we will contact you approximately one month in advance to reschedule. Our office observes the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas.

How do I pay for my cleaning?

Payment is due the day the service is performed. Many of our regular customers leave a check, payable to the Atlanta Cleaning Source, on their kitchen table or kitchen countertop. For your convenience, if you prefer paying by credit card, a number may be left on file with us to use for each cleaning. One-time cleans require a credit card payment.

Do I have to sign a contract?

No. There are no contracts to sign. We are happy to earn your business each time we clean!

Will I always have the same house cleaner?

Our goal is to provide you with consistency no matter what; even if circumstances demand a staffing change. We make every effort to send the same cleaner to your home for each visit and every ACS team member is extensively trained to utilize the same efficient, effective cleaning techniques.

How can I get started?

We begin our relationship with you by scheduling a one-on-one interview and walk through of your home to ask questions and discuss how to best meet your cleaning needs, so you can always count on receiving the same great, personalized service to which you’re accustomed. We’ll provide you with a comprehensive list of our services, and together we’ll create a work order and schedule tailored to your specific requests.
